Movie Review – LIFE

It would be quiet difficult to explain a science-fiction movie like this, a movie that leaves you kind of speechless and angry at the end I seriously thought that this movie was going to end on a very happy mode, but the producers decided to have a totally different ending from our assumptions. Well I am not a great fan of sci-fi movies and for me I think it is better when they end in the first part- part 2 won’t go down well with me. This is one of those movies that you just can’t wait for it to come to an end.

The 1hr 44mins Sci-Fi, Horror, Thriller movie featured acts like Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds and much more, was produced by Daniel Espinosa.
The time spent there seemed like forever, I thought it was never going to come to an end, I struggled to stay till the very end, and I couldn’t just wait to run out, I wasn’t pleased at all.

“Life” as was titled started on a very slow note, one of those movies that you have to listen in properly and not miss any scene or else you get lost and find out someone is dead already.

So they started with showing us a team of NASA members out of space who were on a mission as usual. The only distinct or unique thing which later turned about to be extremely scary was the fact that they went along with a very small creature that one of them was experimenting on. The idea was for them to also test and see if it would also survive out of space. Little did they know that they had just carried a monster along that can survive anywhere and under any kind of weather.

Life-movie

This was how the story started, from the very beginning this tiny creature started growing bigger and bigger the puzzle for me was how smart this little creature could be, I have no clue what they had put in it, but seriously it was smarter and more intelligent than they could have ever imagined. He knew everywhere, could pass any space and could any human in just seconds. Instead of focusing on the sent mission, they started looking for a way to kill this creature called “Kevin” that would just not die, Kevin killed them all till the last brave two (2).

Now this was the most annoying part of the movie for me, at the end when I thought that this whole screaming and shouting was over, I found out that the ship B that was supposed to get missing in out of space landed on earth and the lady in ship A supposed to bring the message to earth landed in out of space. At this point I just lost it with my last breath “hello No” there won’t be a part 2 to this sad movie.

To my verdict this movie deserves a 4/10 at least for efforts put into it, and my advices to them please don’t produce a part 2, it will make us really sad. I absolutely didn’t like the end; they were some disjoints in the movie and also didn’t see this twist coming at the end, it was supposed to be exciting but turned out annoying. For the sci-fi lovers maybe you would like this, but if you haven’t got patience, then this isn’t the movie for you.
