COLLISION (NETFLIX REVIEW) 2022

It was nice to bump into a South African movie after a while, and I totally enjoyed the movie and how they told the story, it made so much sense at the end, teaching us loads of lessons.

This was a nice South African movie that displayed the social issues in Africa, crime and thriller, I totally enjoyed the story and the chase, as Johan searches for his only daughter, who is also searched for by her black boyfriend. We see the bad guys willing to sell anything and everything to make money out of desperation and greed, listen carefully till the very end as the real truth will leave you speechless, I was surprised to see the length the young lady can go for love, the movie took us from the end to the beginning explaining the entire movie, what an unexpected coincidence at the end, I just couldn’t express my pain. Why would she do that why would she be desperate for love, to the extent of wanting to lose her own life, I just couldn’t get it, one of those movies that leave you thinking, what if it played out the other way?

Sincerely this movie left me in so much pain, I kept on wishing it had turned out better or in the opposite direction, to my verdict, I would say 7/10, I liked and if you enjoy South African movies, you might want to check this out.
