THE HITMAN’S WIFE BODYGUARD (CINEMA REVIEW) 2021
It’s Throwback Tiiiiiimmmmeeeee!
It was nice to see Samuel L. Jackson “Darius Kincaid” again with Michael Bryce as “Ryan Renolds” and Salma Hayek “Sonia Kincaid” played the lead role in the movie “Hitman’s Wife Bodyguard” from the “Hitman Bodyguard Series”.
It was a simple movie with the same similar storyline, where a bodyguard is employed to guard his client, we saw Ryan do what he knows how to do best.
In this edition Darius was married to Sonia and they decided to go on a honeymoon, and on getting there, they got into a crisis and Darius asked her to get help. Now guess who showed up to save the day. Ryan, Darius’s worse enemy, decided to come to her rescue, despite being on leave and taking a break from all engagement. He tried to fight the bad guys with her and head to save Darius.
When they finally met Darius, he was so upset to see Ryan and kept wondering why on earth his wife would call Ryan, knowing fully well that they were not the best of friends. Darius was upset and about to walk out on them, when they were all kidnapped. Ryan explained that he was on leave and had nothing to do with them. He detailed that he didn’t want to work or shoot anyone as he had already lost his license. After a lot of issues they decided that they needed to work with each other to stay alive.
The entire movie was all about them running from the bad guys and doing everything to stay alive. They were asked to bring down another bad guy by the guys that kidnapped them. It was a terrible mission, and I was glad that despite all they went through, they were able to make it out alive. You should watch the entire movie to see the action that started from start to finish, how they managed the journey and worked towards saving their lives.
