TOP GUN MAVERICK (CINEMA REVIEW) 2022
I was super excited to see Tom Cruise back in this action packed movie and I didn’t waste any time at all to go see it and as always when a movie is good I go several times and this was this case here again.
If you are a great fan of Tom Cruise and an action movie lover, then you shouldn’t miss this movie for anything. It was very interesting and engaging from start to finish, pay full attention to details as they will all sum up at the very end.
To the movie Maverick had served in the Navy for almost 30 years, and fills like he should throw in the towel and just when he is about to do that, he gets summoned to train some of the youngest, brightest top gun graduates to go on a mission that they may never return from.
On getting to class he meets his late partner’s son (Bradley Bradshaw) Rooster, who has being selected to also embark on this mission. Maverick is confronted with his haunting past and doesn’t know how to go about it. Should he put his friends son on this mission knowing clearly he might not return to his mum who never wanted him to join the Navy in the first place, or not select him despite knowing how good he is and desperate to serve his nation.
You will need to watch the entire movie to see how it ended, a very touching end for me but in all, it was a fantastic movie.
Cast: Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hammer, Glen Powell, Ed Harris etc.
Director: Joseph Konsinski
Runtime: 131min.
Genre: Action, Adventure
Release: 2022
To my verdict I would score the movie 9.5/10. It was really good and I will say met up to my expectations, it was so nice to see Tom as he always had a way of killing his role. The cast and crew did a good job and the action scenes were realistic and exciting.
I am looking forward to seeing Tom in another movie again soon.
