This 2024 action movie combines mythic drama, political allegory, and street‑level brutality. Critics call it “the Indian John Wick”, mixing slick action with cultural storytelling.
The movie opens with Kid growing up with his mother, Neela, in a remote Indian forest village. She tells him stories about Hanuman, the mythic monkey god who once tried to eat the sun instilling courage in him.
Their settlement is targeted by a corrupt guru, Baba Shakti. He orders police chief Rana Singh to clear the land. During the violent raid, Neela hides Kid but is killed by Rana. Kid survives, scarred both physically and emotionally his hands are horribly burned.

Now as an adult in the city of Yatana, Kid (who also uses the alias “Bobby”) earns a meager living in clandestine cage fights at “Tiger’s Temple”. He wears a gorilla mask and is systematically beaten for money.
Flashbacks reveal these brutal matches are part of his emotional preparation for vengeance.
Kid secures a low-positioned job in the VIP kitchen at “Queenie’s”, a luxury brothel frequented by Rana Singh and other corrupt elites. He befriends a gangster named Alphonso, assisting him in rigging a fight so Alphonso wins big and grants Kid access to the exclusive VIP area.
In a VIP bathroom, Kid confronts Rana with a gun but fails to shoot due to overwhelming emotions. Rana beats him badly, and Kid barely escapes by diving into a river and passing out.

Kid is discovered unconscious and taken in by Alpha, the leader of a Hijra (transgender) community associated with a temple. They heal him and help him confront his trauma through an intense, hallucination‑like experience.
He undergoes rigorous training to regain strength and discipline.
When the temple faces eviction due to Baba Shakti’s political maneuvers, Kid uses his winnings from fights at Tiger’s Temple to help save it.
At Diwali celebrations hosted in the post-election victory party at Queenie’s brothel where Baba’s candidate triumphs Kid, Sita (a former prostitute friend), Alpha, and the Hijra community storm the VIP area. In the midst of the confrontation and chaos Kid brutally beats Rana to death with his bare hands.

Queenie is taken out with her thumb severed and later used by Kid to bypass bio-locks and access the penthouse. Kid fights the guru atop a reflective pool. Baba wounds Kid with hidden blade shoes, but Kid retaliates and kills him with a stab to the forehead, Kid collapses in the penthouse, bloodied, remembering his mother and Hanuman. It’s left unclear whether he lives or dies.
