K.O is a gritty, action-packed crime thriller set in Marseille. Starring real-life MMA fighter Ciryl Gane, it follows a journey of guilt, redemption, and violence as Bastien battles crime syndicates alongside a hard-nosed cop to rescue a teenager and rebuild trust.
The film begins in a tense MMA bout in Marseille, where Bastien (Ciryl Gane), a promising fighter, accidentally kills his opponent, Enzo, with a fatal punch. The arena falls silent as Enzo collapses and Bastien is forever haunted by guilt as Enzo’s widow Emma and their son Léo look on in horror. Shaken, Bastien vanishes from public life and retires from MMA three years ago.

Now living in isolation reportedly working in a salt mine Bastien is low and withdrawn. One day, Emma finds him and asks for his help; Léo has disappeared and may have been pulled into Marseille’s dangerous criminal underworld to avenge his father’s death. Emma implores Bastien to find her son .
Bastien teams up with Kenza (Alice Belaïdi), a tough cop determined to dismantle Marseille’s crime syndicates. She’s also pursuing Abdel Manchour, a rising crime lord possibly linked to Léo’s disappearance.

Late-night leads take them to underground fight clubs and drug dens. They track Léo’s girlfriend Inaya and learn he’s hidden with her—but they all fall into an ambush. After a brutal skirmish, Bastien and Kenza manage to rescue them, but the stakes escalate when Manchour’s hit squad assaults Kenza’s precinct, seeking information and eliminating a mole within the force.
With tension rising, Bastien and Kenza confront Manchour directly. Amid a tense standoff, Kenza shoots and kills Manchour’s mole within the department. In the film’s climactic battle, Kenza corners Manchour and decisively ends his reign by killing him in a violent confrontation.

Following the showdown, Léo is reunited with Emma and Inaya. He reveals having witnessed crimes while entangled with the gang but is otherwise physically unharmed. The three quietly reform their fractured family unit by the sea, finding tentative healing and closure.
With Manchour neutralized and Léo safe, Bastien reflects on his loss and guilt. Though he doesn’t return to fighting, his actions empower him to find renewed purpose beyond the ring—suggesting a modest redemption arc.
