What begins as a run-of-the-mill armored-truck route turns into a life-or-death scramble when an unlikely crew is thrust into a heist of epic and thoroughly chaotic proportions.
Russell Pierce, a seasoned armored-car driver eager to retire and open a quaint B&B with his wife Natalie, is paired with rookie Travis Stolly, whose daydreams about becoming a cop consistently derail him on the job. Their mundane routine is shattered when they’re ambushed by a slick criminal squad led by Zoe, who’s orchestrated the hijack with her accomplices Banner and Miguel. In a dizzying twist, Russell tries to surrender the money to save their lives but realizes too late that the cargo isn’t cash, but contraband, setting off a bizarre chain of events.

As the armored truck’s security lockdown kicks in, Zoe’s own backstory surfaces: her father had died trying to save others when the flawed security system failed, and she’s now exacting revenge on the company she blames. In the heat of pursuit, Russell’s wife, Natalie, tracks him via his phone location only to be kidnapped by Zoe and strapped into the getaway vehicle along with Travis. Near the casino vault, Zoe deceives a distracted wrestler with a mock social-media feud, clearing the way to access the vault.

They steal $60 million and flee but Banner betrays them, holding Natalie hostage. A wild car chase follows, with Travis and Russell inadvertently running over Miguel. The armored car bursts into flames on a remote airstrip and explodes. Banner opens fire, but Natalie knocks him out, reuniting with Russell. Zoe disappears via a pre-arranged private plane. The police deem Russell and Travis innocent believing they were coerced. Six months later, Travis is a deputy sheriff in contact with luxury-dwelling Zoe, and Russell has settled into life as a B&B owner, even receiving an anonymous box of cash from Zoe and Travis.
