Their chemistry is immediate. Their conversation flows effortlessly, and for a moment it feels like fate has brought two perfectly matched strangers together. However, a misunderstanding shortly afterward leaves both feeling insulted and betrayed. What could have blossomed into romance instead turns into intense mutual dislike.

Months later, fate forces them back into each other’s lives when they both travel to Australia for a destination wedding. Surrounded by friends and family who believe they would make the perfect couple, Bea and Ben are stuck spending several days together despite their growing hostility.

To avoid awkward questions and impress others at the wedding, they reluctantly agree to pretend to be a couple. What begins as a fake relationship quickly becomes complicated as lingering attraction resurfaces beneath layers of sarcasm, jealousy, and emotional defensiveness.

As the wedding celebrations unfold, humorous situations, drunken confessions, emotional confrontations, and moments of vulnerability slowly strip away the walls they built around themselves. Bea begins to see past Ben’s playful arrogance, while Ben realizes Bea’s guarded personality hides deep emotional scars.

Eventually their fake relationship forces both of them to confront their fears about love, trust, and emotional risk. By the time the truth about their feelings emerges, they must decide whether to continue hiding behind pride or finally embrace the connection that has been obvious from the start.
