Bloodshot : The Merry Go Round of a Super Soldier

For all the action movie lovers, the Bloodshot is definitely for you, although some of us loved the movie, there were a few things about this movie that were so unrealistic and felt like going in a circle. The action was from the word go and action/ fighting scenes were so on point, I think I needed a bit of the action, for a change after some romantic movies, it was nice to see Vin Diesel after Fast and Furious, and he did put up a good show here, I am not so sure I got the vibes well from the publicity for it but then I was lucky to catch this movie in the cinema just right before the malls had to shut down, it was fantastic, a new twist and a new breath of action, you should check it out.

The movie was directed by David S.F. Wilson and written by  Jeff Wadlow, Eric Heisserer & Bob Layton, the action packed 109mins was bumper packed with loads of excitement and thrill, those ones that keep you at the edge of your seats from start to finish, at first we weren’t sure what to expect, but considering that Vin  Diesel was the lead actor, we were certain we were in for some fun time. I loved the production, effects, cinematography, soundtrack and the flash back scenes that almost left some of us confused, but in the end we loved the simple story.

Vin Diesel played the lead role as Ray Garrison in the movie, he was a very intelligent and powerful soldier, so when he died, Dr. Emily and his team of researchers decided to bring him back to life, with some super natural powers, he became a super hero, with nanotechnology in his veins, which meant that no matter what happened to him, he would assemble back together and be brought to life. He was absolutely unstoppable and felt he could take on the world.  At every point where he was brought back to life he became stronger and no matter what he passed through, he could heal instantly. The only issue was that he couldn’t control his mind and memories, so the research company had total control of his mind and memories, so he was at their mercy. Ray couldn’t really separate what was real from what wasn’t, and kept he falling in and out of life. They could bring him back to life at any point and send him back to the deep sleep, along the line he discovered they playing on his intelligence and decided to play the game with them, this was when the movie took a whole new twist, make sure you pay attention to know when he decided to start fooling them too, if only they knew, simple nice action movie, wait till the very end, where most of us lost it.

To my verdict I would score the movie 7/10 why because I totally loved and enjoyed this movie, everything was so on point, although the movie was very interesting, there were so very unrealistic scenes, but it was so cool, the production, the cast and cinematography was really good. The storyline was simple with loads of flash backs, so you have to pay good attention to get a proper grasp of the movie. For all the action movie lovers, I am sure you would love the movie, I will be recommending this.
