Counterattack (also known as “Counterstrike”) is a 2025 Mexican action-thriller directed by Chava Cartas. The film follows Captain Guerrero and his elite special forces unit as they embark on a daring hostage rescue mission near the U.S.-Mexico border. Unbeknownst to them, their actions during the operation inadvertently provoke a powerful criminal organization, leading to a deadly ambush that tests their skills, loyalty, and survival instincts.
