Movie Review- Maze Runner “Death Cure”
It was quiet difficult for me to tell what this movie was all about, well I kind of liked it, but then some scenes looked like they were too long. For those who have being following Maze Runner you will agree with me that they are closely chasing after the Fast and Furious crew. O the end of the series, is over, they come up with just another episode.
I really can’t stop talking and flashing back to this movie. I am extremely excited and happy that I saw it; the hype did no justice to the beautiful twist this story had. We were all spell bound and at the end of the movie, I just couldn’t stand up from my seat at the cinema. Its being a while I had such a spell bound movie, that we just couldn’t predict the end from the beginning. It was funny how the one who we thought was the fool actually turned out to be the smartest of them all, he totally played everyone to think that he was the victim, and mean while he was the brain behind the mission. One lesson learnt for me, was never look down on any one in the team, because sometimes the weakest link might turn out to be the strongest link. We totally loved the story and the suspense and twist got us all laughing at the end.
Christian Gudegast was the director of this nice movie, we have had a series of movies of this kind, with a group of robbers, but this one was really unique and funny, at a point we weren’t in support of the officers anymore but all supported the robbers and didn’t want them to die, despite the fact that we knew they were the bad guys, they twisted it and made it look like the good guys. I felt the director did a good job with this movie as he kept us all spell bound from the beginning till the very end, he gave us a good run for our money. The suspense and actors chosen for each role, was a mystery to unfold what was really coming next. They all did put out a very good show. The action scenes in this movie were fully packed from start till finish, one we just could get bored with, missing any scene could mean being lost.
We kind of had several lead actors and they all did a good job, Pablo, 50 Cent and O ‘Shea Jackson, but the main guy to me was Jackson Jr. he totally killed his role and fooled us all. He was young guy who had being in and out of prison and now worked in a bar, where he got tips and secured information from customers who came around to relax. The bar was a big one in a central area and it harbored all both the good guys and the bad guys, everyone came around and they all had a space to relax. Jackson worked as the driver for the team of robbers, his job was to show up on time, take them there and get them out in the eases fastest way to avoid being got by the corps. The biggest deal was the final one, where they were to rob the Los Angeles Branch of the Federal Reserve, biggest reserve bank in the city that banks money for all the banks in the locality. Every day $120m in cash is taken out and destroyed, their plan was to get in and steal the notes that will be destroyed before they get shredded as they won’t be accounted for and the serial numbers wiped off from the system, as compared to the other notes, which could be traced and tracked.
They sincerely had a well thought out plan and strategy on how to rob that bank, the information they had was too detailed and too good to be true. It was like they worked inside the bank. The highlight of this movie was the very end, when Jackson had a team in the team and they played the main team and went away with the money, the whole story and insight was at the tail end, I just couldn’t stop laughing.
