The MarksMan
I was so happy and delighted to go watch Liam Nelson again after a long while. Since the days of “Taken”, Liam is always an absolute delight and he didn’t let us down in this brand new movie despite his age. It’s looking like he is getting old. He did a fantastic job again in the brand new cinema movie and he delivered.
I liked it, although the shooting and action scenes were not as numerous as before I still enjoyed his simplicity and action packed fighting scenes as they looked realistic. Good job I must say.
In this movie, Liam Nelson played the lead role as “Jim Hanson”, the strong Rancher from Arizona. He had lost his wife to cancer and had one grown up daughter who loved him so much. Jim was getting feed up with a lot of things and just wanted to be left alone to run his simple daily routine and job.
One day, on his way to work, close to the border between the US and Mexico, Jim comes across a lady and her son who were trying to cross over for safety and freedom. During the process of the shoot-out, she gets shot and dies, her dying wish was for Jim to help her take her son to her relatives in Chicago where he will be safe. She left a bag full of money in the car.
Jim thought he will be safe with the corps when he realized the bad guys were back waiting to kill the boy he goes in and carries the out and sets out for Chicago himself despite prompt warning from his daughter who was a cop. At first, the young boy, Miguel, didn’t like him but they later built a bond that was so strong.
The action scenes and most important part of this movie started when he embarked on the road trip to Chicago, when you watch the entire movie you will see how he fought day and night to get his young friend home safe and sound.

To my verdict I would score this movie 8/10.
Honestly, I am great fan of Liam Nelson and I guess that would affect my judgment, but the movie was really good. It had a nice story line of how a man just buys someone else’s problem and sees to the end of it. Give it to Liam, similar to the “Nobody” movie too.
I do love action movies, well the ones that are realistic. This was pretty cool and I am sure for the action movie lovers out there like me, you are in for a time well spent. I was happy it ended well and I am looking forward to another one very soon.
Do not forget to let me know if you agree with me or not on this.
