I wasn’t so sure what to expect from this new movie, “The woman in the window”. I found out that it was trending on Netflix over the weekend so I decided to give it a shot.
It was a creepy and nice movie with loads of flash backs and replays that they almost got me confused, but I was glad I made it to the very end. The entire story added up at the tail end and left me in serious shock because I never expected who was behind the entire killings. The revelation at the end will leave you speechless.
Amy Adam played the lead role as “Dr Anna Fox”, a kiddies therapist who was good at her job. Anna has being locked in doors for years and suffered a serious illness that didn’t allow her go outside, so everything she needed was in her home.
Along the line she decided to admit a new tenant, David, who rented her basement. He decided to help her out with some chores.
One day, her neighbor from across the street came over to see her and she could see that he was disturbed.
A few days later, his mother came around also to also see her and finally their dad came also to threaten her to stay away from his family. She became cordial with Ethan and his mum.
One fateful day, she witnessed the murder of Jane Russell, who she thought was the mother of Ethan Russell and the wife of Alistar Russell. When the cops came around they twisted the story and made her look like she was insane and saw nothing. You will have to pay full attention to understand this movie. Don’t miss a single scene or you will be entirely lost, and everything will become clear at the end.

To my verdict I would score this movie 7/10. It was a very simple thriller movie. I love the cast who played their role and made it so difficult to predict. I absolutely didn’t see that coming. The end blew my mind away, like seriously I never expected it.
