This time around, let’s review a slightly old kids’ teen movie, which took us down memory lane to the early 70’s – 80s. The German movie looked into social issues that young ladies faced during that period and how their lives were controlled by their families or parents.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this movie, but I was glad I finally made the time to watch it. I could relate to the movie as it reminded me so much of how we were brought up by my mum. I guess a lot of things
affect our choice of movies; our perspective and background affect how we connect to movies.
As a lady, you would relate to this movie better and understand the power of sisterhood. In this movie, Marmee March had four girls—Jo, Amy, Meg, and Beth. She trained and brought up these amazing girls in the fear of the Lord. They weren’t rich, but they were content. She taught them to stand by each other and love one another wholeheartedly, no matter what, and that they must learn to forgive each other no matter what. You will need to go check out this movie to see how they overcome the challenges life throws at them as they grow up, how they choose their life partners, and how they move on in life with their various dreams. Remember, all your dreams are valid in life.

In my verdict, I would score this movie 8/10. This was a very cool, unique, distinct movie. Only women from a family of girls can really get this movie. The movie talked about how man proposes, and God has other plans, in life we can have dreams and make plans, but no one really knows tomorrow. If you like teen movies like this, you can check this movie.
