Movie Review – WHY HIM

WHY HIM was a very simple and funny movie, started on a very note as most comedy happy ending movies also ended well. After a very stressful I felt it would be nice to see something different and fun. So this was the available option. A movie about a very simple well trained and polished young lady falling in love with a tech gang star, it was a very hard task for this young girl to convince her day.

The 1hr 51mins movie wasn’t long at all, was just perfect and idea, it featured some nice actors like Zoey Deutch, James Franco, Tangie Ambrose and many more, was directed by John Hamburg and it was a simple budget movie no complexity and a few locations in the movie.

A perk into the movie- which started with a young lady trying to tell her dad about her boyfriend and that he wanted them to meet each and get familiar with each other. Little did her dad know that she had already being leaving with this guy for almost a year and had also missed out from school. Her dad was a very simple man who believed in having the best education as the foundation to success and after paying such an amount he was heartbroken that his daughter could quiet school for a man. He felt she was too young to make that decision hence didn’t want to listen to her finance at all. It was a very tough sell for the young man to please the dad nor even make him feel he was worthy and prepared to have his daughter. His wife and son were also very funny characters in the movie.

To my verdict I will score ‘Why Him’ 6/10. Well I feel that it was a cool simple low budget comedy movie. There wasn’t any technicality or complexity in it and hence my score.
Cool story line, location choices and scenes. I enjoyed the last scenes of the movie, was really cool.
