It will be a bit easier to understand if you have seen the first sequel of Omo Ghetto a popular movie that Jennifer as she is popularly known “Funke Akindele” played a lead role, she played the typical low class girl in the movie that was always fighting for the benefits of others.
The movie was a very plain, simple 0ne, there was nothing out of the box about it, just made people laugh and try to copy the slangs for me there wasn’t anything substantial I could go home with or say was core for me, it just felt like one of those comedy movies, you laughed so hard for and left empty, such that you couldn’t even remember the story afterwards.
Lefty as she was called in the movie was a twin, she was the adverse opposite of her sister, who was so gentle calm and soft spoken, they got separated when they were kids, Lefty grew up in the ghetto while her sister grew up in so much wealth and affluence. Lefty despite being taken out of the streets would still go back every day to see her friends and spend time with them; she would even steal from her mum and give to the needy.

Lefty had a guy she loved so much and thought he would marry her, unknown to her he already had plans to marry a white rich girl? When she found out after going to jail because of his dubious acts, she made sure she dealt with the white lady, you will need to stay till the very end to see how Lefty and her friends had to go fight and save her twin sister’s life from her evil boyfriend.

To my verdict I would score this movie 5/10, it was a simple basic movie, nothing extraordinary or out of box, just a movie telling a story about how a young girl preferred to leave on the streets rather than in affluence, although many people liked it, I just felt out of place with it, I just didn’t see my usual core of a storyline, contents and suspense, everything just seemed so plain and vague to me.
Well for those of you who love Funke Akindele and her comedy kind of movies, I am so sure you wouldn’t see any errors nor mistakes and you will love the movie, although I really do like Funke Akindele and some of movies, this didn’t cut it at all for me and I guess that’s why I am scoring it so low. Please do check it and let me know what you feel about the movie.
