QUIET PLACE II (CINEMA REVIEW) 2021
Searching for a movie to keep you at the edge of your seat from start to finish? Look no further.
This brand new movie kept everyone screaming all through. For those who follow me weekly, you will remember that I am not a great fan of horror movies, but can make do with thriller movies.
The movie was tilting more to the thriller point than horror. At some point, it felt like watching a horror movie but I was able to make it till the very end.
For you to understand the entire movie, you might need to see Part 1. I didn’t see part 1 but I was able to understand the movie.
The movie started with Lee Abbott running to go watch his son play the baseball game with his sister and mum. Suddenly as the game proceeded, they witnessed some strange creatures fall down from the sky to earth, out of fear they all started running to safety and noticed that as they ran for their lives, these huge creatures started killing them.
They quickly observed that the creatures couldn’t see but had a very good sense of hearing. Most people didn’t understand what to do and so instead of staying still and quiet, they kept running and got eaten by the creatures. Immediately people understood that, they decided to be quiet and calm for the creature to pass over them.
For over 474 days, they laid low and were quiet until they got stuck with no food nor drinks and decided to head out to avoid starving to death. The movie moved on quickly when they found a lost friend who after much plea decided to allow them stay safe in his place since he had some food left.
Regan Abbott, Evelyn’s daughter decided to go out and search for help. This was a very risky trip as she was deaf and dumb, but very smart and brave. You will need to see the entire movie to see how it ended.
