SPIRAL (CINEMA REVIEW) 2021
Looking for a serious creepy, mind blowing and exciting movie then look no further? Spiral had it all. At some points, I thought I was watching a horror movie, which I don’t really like, but this wasn’t bad at all.
The movie left me speechless at the very end as I just couldn’t predict who was doing this and they had eliminated all my suspects, that left me even more confused, but in a good way. This left me smiling and seat bound even when the movie was over. Trust me, you will thank me after watching this movie.
Chris Rock played the lead role as “Det. Zeke Banks” his father Samuel L. Jackson known as “Marcus Banks” used to be his boss till he retired. Zeke worked alone he just couldn’t trust anyone on his team, because some years back he had a crisis called for backup and no one showed up till he was shot, at that point he knew he wasn’t liked and had to guard his own back.
Well, some years later a bad guy decided to strike the police force and take the law into his hands by killing all the corrupt bad cops’ one after the other. For me, it wasn’t just about the killings and how weird and creepy they were, it was in the manner in which he executed the killings. It was terrible.
He will lure them into a secret place, play a video to remind them when they committed the offence he is about to kill them for and then, ask them if they wanted to play the spiral game. The honest truth was that either ways, the victim must die. There was no way you could save yourself out of that disaster in 90seconds. He killed loads of them and they just couldn’t unveil who the killer was.
The last scenes were the most intense for me, so make sure you pay full attention and watch till the very end to understand the entire movie, they got me on this one and I was thrilled I am sure you will be also.

Well, well, well I am going to award this movie 8.5/10. It was a brilliant, fantastic and amazing movie. OMG! Sincerely, they kept me at the edge of my seat from start to finish.
When the movie ended I just couldn’t get out of my seat, I stayed glued there waiting for what next could happen. They did a very good job there in leaving us totally speechless at the very end.
I loved the twisted mind blowing story of revenge. I felt the cast played their roles well. The killing process that was well thought out looked so real, the connecting of all the dots and why at the very end, just blew my mind.
Nice job from the writer and the producer, I must give it up for them. For all the horror and thriller movie lovers out there, hey, go check it out this would surely be your thing. Don’t forget to leave us a comment and tell us what you think about this brand new movie.
