The death of Robin Hood is a dark, revisionist action thriller film following an aged, unrepentant outlaw who grapples with a bloody past of crime and hides in self-imposed exile.

The film deconstructs the traditional folklore, portraying Robin Hood not as a noble hero, but as a violent, cynical killer whose legendary generosity was a myth. After little John draws the wrath of a vengeful farming family by murdering their patriarch, a brutal and bloody conflict erupts, leaving an aging Robin gravely wounded.
Little John manages to spirit the heavily injured Robin away to a secluded island priory tended by a nun(sister Brigid/Brian) and lepers. The narrative shifts from frantic early violence to a slow, bleak character study as Robin confronts his mortality, his conscience(represented by a kept companion) and the unending cycle of violence he created.

Haunted by his victims and burdened by his physical agony, Robin ultimately asks the prioress to assist him in ending his pain, bleeding out in his bedsheets as the dark legend finally concludes.
