Along the way, they revisit memories and lost moments, old family time, conversations that never happened, and what “home” really means. Adam must face his past; his father (Mark Ruffalo), his loss, and what he left behind. He also must make a sacrifice to fix the future by risking his present.

In the finale, there is big action, but also real emotion. The two Adams confront Maya. Their plan is risky. They have to use both their knowledge and their love for family. In the end, Adam makes a difficult choice about time, love, and who he wants to be. The movie closes with hope, but also the weight of what “fixing things” really costs.
