Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse expands the groundbreaking animated universe introduced in Into the Spider-Verse, delivering a visually revolutionary adventure that explores identity, destiny, responsibility, and the power of choice.
The story follows Miles Morales, a teenage hero from Brooklyn who has embraced his role as Spider-Man while balancing the struggles of school, family expectations, and the secret burden of heroism.

Miles reunites with Gwen Stacy, another Spider-person from a different universe who has been working with a secret organization of Spider-heroes across the multiverse. Their reunion rekindles their friendship and hints at deeper feelings between them.
Gwen introduces Miles to a vast multiverse where countless versions of Spider-Man protect their own realities. However, this interconnected web of universes is governed by strict rules enforced by the powerful Spider Society, led by Miguel O’Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099.

The organization believes that certain tragic events known as “canon events” must happen in every Spider-Man’s life in order to preserve the stability of the multiverse.
When Miles discovers that one of these inevitable tragedies may soon affect someone he loves, he refuses to accept the idea that destiny cannot be changed. His defiance puts him at odds with the entire Spider Society, turning him into a fugitive across countless realities.
As he races through breathtaking dimensions filled with wildly different art styles and environments, Miles struggles with the central question of the film: can he define his own destiny, or must he accept the painful sacrifices that come with being Spider-Man?
