Their relationship ended painfully when Amara became pregnant and Dirim left town under pressure from his mother, leaving Amara to face the social stigma alone.
Amara eventually heals and marries Uzor, a hardworking, devoted and supportive tailor/husband who helps her rebuild her life.
Six months later into their marriage, Dirim returns from studying abroad. Under the thin excuse of bringing fabric to Amara’s workshop for clothes to be sewn, he enters her life.
Dirim’s aggressive pursuit for a second chance reignites old, unresolved feelings in Amara. She finds herself torn between the quiet, stable loyalty of her husband Uzor and the intoxicating, painful nostalgia of her first love.
