Love and Monster
So, I bumped into this movie on Netflix when I saw that it was brand new and trending. I decided to give it a try and found out that it wasn’t bad at all.
It was a simple nice romantic movie that told the story of a young guy, who went in search of love. A simple comedy apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic movie, with a sweet storyline.
Joel Dawson a very nice young guy running away with his family after a disaster that struck his city. He lost them in the process, and this affected his mental mind badly leading to him having nightmares daily. He decided to travel in search of his true love. He promised his dear friend that he was going to come for her.
In the process of searching for her, he came across a man and his daughter who taught him the gimmicks and tricks of surviving in the forest. They helped him overcome his fears and pain. The training he got aided his survival in the forest. He finally found the girl of his dreams.
The sad aspect of this excitement was that when he found her, she explained that she wanted to stay back and help the other people. He was sad but then had to move on to meet some of his other friends. I was quite sad that after all his efforts she didn’t go with him. It was a sweet, simple nice romantic movie that you would enjoy.

It was nice to see something different for a change and I was glad I did.
