HH Holdings Group backs new Nollywood film KÒSO

2 Min Read

HH Holdings Group has confirmed its role as Executive Producer for KÒSO, a new Nigerian film written, directed, and produced by filmmaker James Abinibi under Rock Bottom Films. The project marks HH Holdings Group’s entry into the Nigerian film industry, with its Chief Executive, Deji Rotimi, leading the partnership.

KÒSO follows a character whose death becomes a transformation rather than an ending. In the story, the central figure’s demise is described as “not death, but an ascension into a storm, where he became one with thunder and fire.” The film explores themes of ancestral connection, identity, fate, and choice. Rising actor Joseph Momodu takes the lead role.

Speaking on the production, Deji Rotimi said, “At HH Holdings, we back stories that spark reflection, ignite culture, and challenge norms. KÒSO does all three.” He added that the company’s involvement represents a wider goal of supporting projects that connect with audiences while expanding the creative industries.

Shola Animashaun, a producer and visual media professional, joins the project as Associate Producer. The collaboration brings additional creative expertise to the production process.

James Abinibi, known for his work in Nigerian cinema, has written and directed the film while also taking on producing duties. The film is being positioned to engage audiences in Nigeria and beyond, with early interest growing ahead of its official release.

Teasers, trailers, and details of the film’s premiere will be released in the coming weeks. Until then, promotion around the film continues with a single message to audiences:

“Brace yourself. The storm is near.”

KÒSO will be distributed across select cinemas, with release plans to be announced.
