Movie Review – HIDDEN FIGURES
A brilliant fantastic movie that told us a story about three ladies of the time past, who desperately wanted to make a difference and cause a huge change in the city. They were strong determined and very independent, they knew what they wanted and no one could change their mind or stop them from achieving the greatest height available and they did.
The 2hrs movie just seemed idea for it, as we had no worries about the time spent, they had acts like Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae. They told a simple and beautiful true life story in a very touching way, telling us what the Black “Colored people” went through before they acquired freedom.
Hidden figures had a fantastic storyline about 3 ladies who were very determined and ambitious, they were very strong and didn’t allow intimidation bring them down. It started on a very touching note with scenes displaying how the black women suffered, they were not treated as equals and were not allowed to take up some specific roles known as roles for the white’s only. Despite their working so hard their pay checks didn’t reflect their effort and stress, yet they kept working and even when they merited the position or promotion, they were never good enough for the role. What touched me so much was that no matter the obstacles these ladies faced they never believe that it wasn’t surmountable. They went ahead to become the first female aeronautical engineer, first female IBM Supervisor and the first black female to work with the mathematical team that flew the first space ship.
To my verdict I would say Hidden Figures was totally awesome and fantastic, a cool movie based on a true life story, you need to listen in properly so you can thoroughly understand the movie. They deserve a 9/10.
