Nothing To Hide ; There is always more to the story
The movie didn’t look so interesting at the beginning so you would have to wait for it and be a bit patient with them, as the exciting point of the movie came almost 30 minutes into the movie, I had to be patient to enjoy this movie, make sure you do, what started out so boring took another twist after a while, you know those movies that star keep you clued to the screen, this is one of them. When I thought all the couples were saints, I found out that they all had cockroaches in their cupboards, it was so interesting and mind blowing, at the end of the movie I thought their marriages would have being over, but somehow they were able to mend, forgive and move on.
This movie was centered on 4 couples who had being friends for ages, they decided to come together and spend the evening together over dinner and wine, and discuss about life and their achievements. Little did they know that what started out as fun could end up destroying their marriages? They all came in one after the other to the house of the host who had prepared an amazing 3 course meal, so they eat and drank over lovely conversations. After a while someone suggested a very weird idea, she asked everyone to put their phones on the table and all calls, emails and text would be read to all, before the person responded. This was when the movie went to a whole new twist, as they had terrible hidden secrets no one knew about not even their spouses. It was crazy as some resisted when their phones beeped and some even had to switch their phones to avoid issues with their wives, I could hide my shock at all when I even found out that one was also receiving gifts from her husband friend, make sure you pay attention and wait for it till the very end as what you would find would shock you.

I really enjoyed this movie and I learnt a few lessons, that you really don’t know it all, never assume or feel that you know someone completely, they might have some secrets that they can’t reveal to anyone and not even their spouses, it was so weird and strange how every single couple had something serious to hide, and yet lived together as if all was well, this movie was an eye opener to me and one I won’t forget in a while. To my verdict I would say 6.5/10 it wasn’t one of those head over heels fantastic action movie, it was so simple, one scene with 8 people and that was all for 2 hours, one of those static basic movies that would still keep you captivated till the end. If you love suspense, drama and romantic movies, you might want to check this out.
