OLOTURE SERIES (NETFLIX REVIEW) 2024
If you are a sucker for Nigerian/African movies, then search no further as “Oloture” will be worth your while, it was simple, intriguing, cool and nice, please go in with and open mind and keep your expectations as minimal as possible so they can impress you. If you are a great fan of Sharon Ooja, then check out this movie to see your girl in action.
I finally summoned the courage to check out this Nollywood limited series edition movie, and well it wasn’t bad at all. I saw the first part and actually thought that the movie should have ended there, when I saw “Oloture coming soon”, I thought it was just going to be part 2 and end there, only to see it was limited series, the series had only 3 episodes with 38m on average and totalled 120 mins, which was typically a simple movie. Anyway, to the movie, “Oloture” who was working on an investigative story about the hidden story of how girls were picked and trafficked to other countries for illicit business, ended up being a victim of her own story, despite all efforts to escape and run for her life, she was nabbed and bundled to the bun and whisked to neighbouring countries, where they were moved from boarder to boarder to finally end up in Europe. You will need to watch the entire movie to find out how many of them finally made it to Europe.
