Debby (played by Sandra Okunzuwa) is introduced as a resilient “street girl” scraping by in the bustling city. She hustles daily—doing odd jobs, dodging trouble, and surviving in a world that often overlooks her.
One evening, Debby’s path crosses with a man from a more stable background (portrayed by Timini Egbuson). Their initial meeting is charged with tension and curiosity: he’s intrigued by her spirit, and she is wary of his intentions.

Despite their differences, Debby and the man form a close bond. He offers her a window into a more secure life—access to shelter, education, and ambition. Debby, in turn, opens his eyes to grit, the street’s reality, and a fierce survivor’s determination.
Their dynamic deepens into something emotionally intense but things take an unexpected turn when Debby faces a personal crisis that puts her future and their relationship at stake. The nature of the twist is emotional and powerful—feelings reach a boiling point during a pivotal night, and a long-hidden truth comes to light.
