SAVING BIKINI BOTTOM: THE SANDY CHEEKS MOVIE
“Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie” is a spin-off from the “SpongeBob SquarePants” series, focusing on Sandy Cheeks, the inventive squirrel from Texas.
The story begins in Bikini Bottom, where Sandy Cheeks is conducting research on the local marine life. Suddenly, the entire town is scooped out of the ocean by a massive mechanical claw operated by Sue Nahmee, a nefarious CEO portrayed by Wanda Sykes. Sue’s plan is to transform the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom into a line of mass-produced toys called “Sea Pals.”

Sandy and SpongeBob SquarePants, who were outside the town during the abduction, realize what has happened and decide to rescue their friends. They trace the captured Bikini Bottom to Sandy’s home state of Texas, where Sue Nahmee’s laboratory is located. During their journey, they encounter Sandy’s family, including her brother Randy Cheeks (voiced by Johnny Knoxville), Pa Cheeks (Craig Robinson), and Ma Cheeks (Grey DeLisle).

With the help of her family, Sandy devises a plan to infiltrate Sue Nahmee’s lab. They discover that Sue intends to use a device to mass-produce the “Sea Pals” by cloning the residents of Bikini Bottom. In a climactic confrontation, Sandy and her allies manage to thwart Sue’s plan, freeing their friends and returning Bikini Bottom to its rightful place under the sea.

The film concludes with a celebratory performance by the Cheeks family at the Krusty Krab, showcasing their circus talents.
