UNCUT GEMS (NETFLIX REVIEW) 2019
I think this is one of those movies that leaves you confused at the beginning, but then at the tail end you can add up everything and understand the movie.
I wasn’t so sure what to expect from this movie, but in all I was glad I made out time to see it. Adam Sanders played the lead role as Howard Ratner, he was a very energetic and charismatic jeweler, who took crazy risks in business, and he mingled with both the good and bad guys, and would stop at no length to take a stake in a bet. One day Howard decides to take his biggest risk ever, which also entails putting in all the funds he had in his possession that actually belonged to some terrible bad guys, He struggled with managing his home, work, business and personal deals, well you would have to watch the entire movie to how Howard lost it all, the end was just too tragic and I never saw that coming at all.
The 135m Mystery, Thriller, comedy movie was directed by Benny Safdie & Josh Safdie, they featured actors like Lakeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, Kevin Garnett, Idina Menzel, Eric Bogosian and many more.
