ÒLÒTŪRÉ (CINEMA REVIEW) 2020
Òlòtūré is a simple and basic movie based on some issues that happens in the Nation. The movie tried to display the menace happening on the streets in Nigeria and how young girls in the desperation to make a living try to do anything for survival. In the real world, it is the survival of the fittest, where most have to do what they need to do to earn a living.
The movie exposed quite a bit of what happens at night in major cities and how young ladies are transported to other countries for money. ”Sharon Ooja” who played the lead role did put up a good show, trying to live the story. She played the lead role in this movie as “Oloture” she was a very good journalist who wanted to investigate the night live in a major city. She worked with her boss “Blossom Chukwujekwu” who played “Emeka” in the movie, to find out how they functioned, who was in charge of the cartel and to investigate and find out the men and women who behind trafficking these girls to other countries.
Some of these girls work day and night to save funds to pay the lady who was in charge of getting them tickets and visa to travel out. They thought I was going to be a fun ride. Little did these girls know that after paying huge sum of amounts, the guys would carry them through the desert, and they will even have to face death on their way to their final destination. The movie is a revealing one which left many speechless do check it out and let us know what you think.

To my verdict I would score this movie 6/10. It was a simple basic movie, nothing extraordinary or out of box, just a movie telling a story about how young girls are trafficked to other countries.
The picture quality and cinematographer was really good considering most of the scenes were shot at night.
