BARTKOWIAK (NETFLIX REVIEW) 2021
I wasn’t so sure what to expect from this Polish action packed movie, but I was glad I made out time to see it. The movie was translated in English so it was easy to understand. Typical type of movie that starts slowly ves on quickly. I kind of liked it, although it wasn’t so distinct or different, as it seemed at some point as a movie we had seen before, but I enjoyed it.
Tomek was a very good boxer, and in the first scene he was fighting against a notorious competitor, who was brutal. You will need to pay full attention at this point to understand fully what transpired during that game and how it affected his entire career.
When he was framed for drugs, he had to stop boxing; his former coach went into depression as he lost his entire property to betting on Tomek, who ended up losing the game.
Along the line his elder brother came around to plead with him to come back to the game, and also help him in the club. Unfortunately on his way back, he had an accident and died. Tomek felt really sad and devastated and had to stand in for his brother, so that he won’t lose the family business which was club. His brother really wanted to keep it, so he decided to fight everyone and retain his brother’s legacy.
A group of bad guys wanted to buy off the property, which he refused. In the process of investigating the reason they were buying all the properties in the area they found out that it was the same guys that could have murdered his brother. You will need to watch the entire movie to see what this action movie was about.

I kind of enjoyed this action packed movie as I wasn’t so sure what I was to expect or what it would pan out to be, but at the end I was glad I could watch it. To my verdict I would say 7/10. If you are a fan of good action movies, then you might want to try this out.
