Ebuka and his wife, Adetutu, appear to have an enviable life until miscarriages and chronic infertility stir deep emotional wounds. Adetutu struggles to bond with her husband’s teenage daughter Chichi from a previous marriage, leading to constant tension. In frustration, Adetutu consults an Ifá priest, believing her barrenness might be spiritual. The ritual saga shakes the entire family, bruising everyone’s sanity and patience. Meanwhile, the stepdaughter drifts away, eventually bonding with a neighbor as she struggles with insecurity and resentment.
The climax arrives when the stepdaughter is kidnapped in a supernatural twist seemingly linked to the Ifá priest’s warnings. Adetutu’s spiritual reckoning leads her to discover inner healing and renewed faith, culminating in her miraculous pregnancy with triplets. This event mends the family’s fractures, brings spiritual unity, and redefines love and forgiveness within their household.
