Outside the Wire (Netflix Review) 2021
Movie Review 3 – OUTSIDE THE WIRE (NETFLIX REVIEW) 2021
Welcome to my first movie of 2021. I was super excited to watch a brand new 2021 movie and I am glad I did.
Outside the wire was a lovely action packed movie that kept me totally engaged and entertained from start to finish. I loved the concept of the movie and the idea of telling us what might happen in the nearest future.
The movie reminded me “Fury”, “Birds Eye” and “Dunkirk” – military action packed movies that requires that you pay full attention so you understand fully, the message they were passing across.
Damson Idris, a Bristish Nigerian based young actor, played the lead role as “Harp”. He was a very bright boy who was very ambitious as the youngest in his field. He was smart and intelligent, and a lot of people were envious at how fast he was growing.
On one faithful day during one of his missions, he was made to take a very critical decision that would put either himself or his colleagues in trouble, he open instructions and still had to face a redeployment to field from space control. It was so difficult for him to shoot as he was only used to shooting from space.
Along the line, he was asked to work with Leo who he found out immediately on that he was an AI, but looked so real you would never know. Leo was very smart. Intelligent and extremely manipulative, he also had so much power that he could defeat any obstacle. Leo confided in Harp and let him in on so many secretes, which made Harp a bit more comfortable with him and what he wanted them to do. Little did Harp know that Leo was only using him to get his own mission out and destroy the world with some group of bad guys.
You would need to see the entire movie to see how the whole thing went down, please make sure you wait till the very end. It is only at that point all things add up.

Fantastic action movie here so I would score it 7/10. I did like it but some people didn’t feel it as much. It was unique and nice, full of fighting and actions scenes, only a few dull moments.
I did like the cast, cinematography, effects, actions, locations and sound track. It felt and seemed so real. I didn’t like the fact that some scenes dragged unnecessarily long and could have being skipped. The last scene was way too long for my liking. Generally, it was good. So for the action based, military, war movie lovers this might be your kind of movie, do check it out and tell us what you think.
