A fast, intense action story about a trained CIA assassin who is forced to run for his life when the people he works for turn against him.
Court Gentry, also called Six, is a quiet man who works in the shadows. He was taken out of prison many years ago and trained by the CIA to do missions no one else wants. He moves like a ghost with no friends, no family, just orders and survival.

One day, he is sent on a job that looks normal. Go in, take the target out, leave quietly. But things change when he discovers the man he is supposed to kill is actually another secret agent like him. The man gives Six a small drive and whispers that someone inside the CIA is corrupt. Before dying, he begs Six to keep the truth safe.

Six escapes with the drive, but suddenly everyone he once trusted turns on him. The new boss wants him dead. To catch him, they hire a dangerous private killer named Lloyd Hansen. Lloyd is the opposite of Six and is loud, violent, cruel, and enjoys hurting people. He will do anything to bring Six in.

Six starts running from city to city, hiding, fighting, and trying to protect a young girl named Claire, the niece of his old mentor. Lloyd discovers the girl and uses her to force Six out of hiding. This leads to huge chases, gunfights, and close calls in crowded streets, old houses, and even moving trains.
While fighting to save himself and the girl, Six learns the truth behind the corruption. Powerful men inside the CIA have done terrible things, and the drive he carries can destroy them. The only way out is to face everything head-on.

In the final battle, Six and Lloyd clash in a brutal fight, each giving everything they have. Six wins, but not without scars. The truth comes out, powerful people fall, and Claire is saved. Six walks away into the night, still a ghost, but now a ghost with purpose.
