Goat is an animated sports-comedy following Will, a small, everyday goat who works at a diner in the crumbling, vibe-covered town of Vineland. Despite his diminutive size, he dreams of playing professional roarball-a brutal, co/ed basketball-stour game.
One day, the league MVP, an arrogant horse named Mane Attraction, visited Vineland and showed off. Will steps up to the challenge and plays mane one-on-one. While Will loses, a video of his gritty performance and near-stop of the star player goes completely viral on social media.

Capitalizing on the viral sensation, the owner of Vineland’s professional roar all tem( the Thorns), Flo, decides to recruit Will. She brings Will on board not just to win games, but as a marketing ploy to boost public interest. Will steps into a locker room filled with an eccentric, deeply dysfunctional group of animals:
Archie: A rhinoceros and protective single “girl dad”
Lenny: An aspiring rapper and giraffe
Modo: A pierced Komodo dragon
Olivia: An ostrich with social media anxiety.
The team is captained by a panther named Jett Fillmore, a seasoned, immensely talented superstar who carries the entire franchise on her back, however Jett is entirely self-centered and unwilling to share the spotlight or pass the ball. She treats Will like a joke or a mere mascot rather than a teammate.

Despite the disrespect, Will’s relentless optimism and strong work ethic begin to run off on the rest of the squad. He refuses to accept the league’s unwritten rule that “smalls” can’t ply with the “bigs”. As Will gets more playing time, he teaches his teammates the true value of passing and teamwork. Jett’s toxic, singular-player mentality is challenged by Will’s pure joy for the game and her hardened heart slowly begins to soften.
As the Thorns push their way through the tournament to reach the final championship game, they must face off against their biggest rival, the Lava court Magmas, led by the arrogant Mane attraction. During the highly intense, action-packed climax, Mane attempts to ruthlessly injure Will on the court.
Through a mix of agile maneuvers and defensive teamwork, the Thorns thwart Mane’s plans but the collision results in Jett taking a severe hit and injuring her leg.

The Thorns must rally without their star player on the court, Will steps up, leading his team using the very values of teamwork and inclusivity they’ve learned throughout the season. The team managed to pull together and win the championship, proving that teamwork triumphs over individual greed. Ultimately, the movie concludes with a transformed Jett finding respect for Will and the league finally acknowledging that animals of any size and background can succeed in the sport.
