In the sweltering heat of Lagos, where power shifts like shadows and justice bends to the highest bidder, one man buries a violent past beneath the collar of redemption. But when his only son is framed, murdered, and buried by the same system he once served, the past claws its way back with a vengeance.

Paul Edima, once a feared operative, now serves as a deacon following a life‑changing religious conversion. When corrupt forces frame and kill his only son, Damilola mistaken for a suspect in a kidnapping Paul’s carefully built quiet life shatters.
Angry and sad as well, Paul initially rejects help from investigative journalist Vic Kalu. But after uncovering clues that implicate General Issa a powerful figure from Paul’s former syndicate he reluctantly teams up with her. Together they trace a secret ledger the Black Book which contains confessions and evidence capable of exposing systemic corruption.

As Paul re-enters the underworld, he abducts and confronts minor operatives to extract confessions, which Vic records. But her editor suppresses the footage, fearing retribution. Disillusioned, Paul declines General Issa’s offer of hush money and embarks on one final mission: dismantle the criminal network that ruined his life.
The movie sees secrets raids and intricate betrayals, resulting in arrests and the public release of damning evidence. In the end, justice is served, but at a steep personal cost. The film’s attention to social detail and sweeping cinematography has drawn comparisons to Western revenge thrillers like John Wic.
