Where is Mr right? Is a romantic-comedy-turned-crime thriller drama. Olubunmi is a successful event planner feeling intense societal pressure to find a husband, with her younger sisters already married with children, family gatherings feel like a constant scoreboard.

Bunmi looks up to an apparently “perfect” neighboring couple in her estate as the gold standard of marital happiness. However, she soon realizes that this idealized couple is actually trapped in a toxic and abusive relationship.
Bunmi’s neighbor, Bridget introduces Bumni to her brother, Dexy, who is back in the country for his 50th birthday. Bunmi is hired to plan Dexy’s milestone birthday celebration and a genuine romantic attraction begins to spark between her and Dexy. The time shifts dramatically when a violent domestic altercation erupts between Bridget and her husband, during the chaos, Dexy accidentally kills Bridget’s husband.

Abandoning its standard romantic-comedy setup, the movie plunged into a high-stakes crime cover-up. Bunmi finds herself dragged deep into the conspiracy alongside Bridget and Dexy to hide the accidental murder.
