The narrative centers on DCP Satya Verma (Varun Dhawan), a dedicated and fearless police officer residing in Mumbai with his mother, Madhvi (Sheeba Chaddha). Satya’s commitment to justice leads him to investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl named Amba. Realizing that the legal system may not adequately punish Ashwin due to his father’s influence, Satya takes matters into his own hands and kills Ashwin, igniting Babbar Sher’s wrath. During this tumultuous period, Satya meets and falls in love with Meera (Keerthy Suresh), a compassionate doctor from Chennai. Despite initial hesitations about his dangerous profession, Meera marries Satya, and they have a daughter named Khushi (Zara Zyanna).
Babbar Sher seeks revenge by orchestrating a brutal attack on Satya’s family, resulting in the deaths of Meera and Madhvi. To protect Khushi, Satya fakes their deaths and relocates to a quiet part of Kerala, adopting the alias John D’Silva and running a bakery. Khushi affectionately calls him “Baby,” leading to his new moniker, “Baby John.”
