Welcome to another week of movie reviews! This week, I’m kicking things off with a heartwarming Christmas movie, as promised I’ll be reviewing Christmas films every week until January.
Christmas Unusual tells the story of Thea, a young woman who unexpectedly meets a charming Indian man deeply in love with her. To avoid losing her, he proposes to her just before Christmas. Thea is taken aback by his sudden proposal, as she didn’t even know his name but was certain he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. The movie explores how Thea’s family reacts to her new fiancé. Her mother, who thought he was British, is shocked to discover that he is Indian, having no knowledge of his cultural background.

To my verdict I would score this movie 8/10. I kind of liked it in a funny way, I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw the facial expression of her mom, when she found out she had brought an Indian guy home.
