Prime time (Netflix review) 2021
This was a simple Polish drama movie, about a young boy that wasn’t brought up properly or loved by his family, to get back to them he needed to send a message, but not just a message, a message on prime time, during the most watched show on New’s year’s eve.
Mira was the popular host of the most screened show on air, that night she was late and almost missed the most important night on her show, the new years eve of 1999 that will usher everyone into a new era, what started out as a simple night, quickly transcended into almost a horror movie as armed young man enters the TV studio during the broadcast, takes Mira hostage and makes one ridiculous demand to give a message live on air. Do wait till the very end to see how it went down and his selfish reason for putting on these stunts. The 93m movie was directed by Jakub Piatek featured Magdalene Poplawska, Bartosz Bielenia, Cezary Kosinski and others.

To my verdict I would score this movie 4/10, I found the movie quiet slow and pathetic, it wasn’t as engaging as I expected and it left a lot to behold, at some point I almost gave up watching the movie, it took a lot of determination and diligence, to seat to the very end, wont be able to recommend this at all, but if this is a type of movie you like, then feel free to check it out.
