You, Me & Tuscany is a romantic comedy drama following Anna, a struggling New York City house sitter and Culinary school dropout after her mother’s passing.
After getting fired for wearing one of her clients’ expensive dresses, she visits a local bar to drown her sorrows. There she meets Matteo, a charming, globe-trotting Italian businessman and real estate agent. Matteo vents about wanting to escape the family’s restaurant business in Tuscany, mentions he owns a beautiful villa he never visits and encourages Anna to take an impulsive trip to Italy.

Ignoring advice from her pragmatic best friend,Claire, Anna boards a flight to Tuscany. Upon arriving during a summer festival, she finds the town fully booked, so she travels to Matteo’s abandoned villa and lets herself in. She makes herself at home, even trying on jewelry and an engagement ring she finds in a drawer. Her relaxing vacation takes a turn when Matteo’s mother, Gabriella, unexpectedly arrives at the house.
In panic, Anna blurts out that she and Matteo are engaged. Because the engagement ring is already on her finger, Anna feels stuck and is forced to keep the charade going. She meets the rest of Matteo’s family, and complications arise when Matteo’s cousin/brother, Michael- a soulful, handsome winemaker arrives at the estate. Anna and Michael build undeniable chemistry between them, forcing Anna to navigate a tangled web of lies and her growing feelings for Michael.

Eventually, the truth about her masquerade as Mattel’s fiancée threatens to unravel, and ends with Anna and the family reconciling. Anna and Michael embracing their romance and Anna fully reconnecting with her culinary dreams.
