In this adventure, Wallace unveils his latest invention: Norbot, a robotic garden gnome designed to assist with household tasks. While Wallace is enamored with his creation, Gromit grows wary of Wallace’s increasing reliance on technology. The situation escalates when Feathers McGraw, still imprisoned from his previous heist, hacks into Norbot’s system, reprogramming it to mass-produce an army of robotic gnomes for his nefarious plans.

As the gnome army begins stealing items across town, suspicion falls on Wallace, leading to the confiscation of his inventions by the authorities. Determined to clear their names, Gromit retrieves a tracking device and uncovers Feathers’ plot to escape prison using a submarine constructed from the stolen goods.
The climax features a thrilling canal chase, with Wallace and Gromit pursuing Feathers, who attempts to flee with the coveted Blue Diamond. In a clever twist, Gromit deceives Feathers by substituting the diamond with a turnip, leading to Feathers’ escape being thwarted. The film concludes with Wallace acknowledging the irreplaceable value of human (and canine) touch, and Gromit developing a newfound respect for Norbot.
