Mango (Netflix Review) 2025

3 Min Read

It’s the season of Christmas, and everyone is super excited. All of the Christmas movie lovers, come closer, because this is the season of love, joy, kindness, happiness, and romance. Let the season begin.

Mango was a very simple and sweet movie, something away from the numerous Christmas movies on Netflix. In this movie, Laerke was a very successful and ambitious hotel manager. She was so good on the job that whenever there was any difficult situation, Laerke was called upon to solve it. This time around, Laerke must travel to Malaga immediately, disrupting her holiday with her daughter; to appease her, she decided to travel with her daughter to convince Alex, who was a former lawyer, to sell his mango plantation to her Real Estate company, which wants to build a 5-Star hotel in that village. Paul is sentimentally attached to the farm as it holds loads of memories for him, having lost most of his family members to a terrible fire outbreak some years back. Paul must protect the farm which is the major source of income for the majority of the people in the neighbourhood. You need to check out this movie to find out if Paul finally
agreed to sell or not, and how he was able to move on with life.

The 96m Danish drama, romance movie was directed by Mehdi Araz, featuring actors like Josephine Park, Dar Salim, Josephine Chavaris Hojbjerg, Sara Jimenez, Anders W Berthelsen, Paprika Steen, Sebastian Jessen, Lise Baastrup, Jacob Jergsholon, etc. Genre: romance/comedy
Release: 2025

In my first Christmas movie for 2025, I would score it 8/10. The movie was simple, sweet and nice, everything made sense, and as usual, you know how all Christmas movies end: always sweetly and romantically, where they lived happily ever after, typical of any Christmas movie, something you can relax and watch with the family.
